Last year direct energy was the first in north america to launch the hive active light starter pack which includes the hive hub plus two hive active light bulbs through the smart bright 24 plan. It pairs to your hive hub and gives you control of your lights from the hive app. The hive active light is easy to install and simply replaces your existing light bulb. You can use the hive app or website dashboard to set schedules adjust the tone of your light and set dimming levels for hive active light.

There is no need to replace each thermostat with a hive active thermostat however we recommend to do so as it gives you access to hive multizone. Using the hive app or website dashboard you can set schedules and dimming levels for the hive active light from your mobile device tablet or laptop.
